It's been pretty modest and not strenuous.  Went for a walk in the park twice and did a tape twice.  &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;As for my age, with the tape I did today, I realized I can't do it like I did when I was 16.  It's amazing I did it back then with such effort and, well, force.  Today I modified it quite a bit.  Although, there was one move I did and I felt the worst knee pain...and in my "good" knee...(uh oh lol).  I won't be doing this tape very often.  I needed a break from Walk Away The Pounds, and it's kind of cold out to go for a walk.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;My night time eating is sort of improving too.  Several nights this week I have not gone hog wild with going to the kitchen and overeating.  And it showed on the scale...as of last weigh I lost two pounds.  It is a problem though, and it has not gone away.  But this week I have been managing it better. I wrote down "What can I do today to be a healthier and better person?"  I'm going to ask myself this everyday and see what happens.  This is the only way to be able to change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For example, today I went for a walk.  The park is relatively flat, and I'm so out of shape that I broke a sweat.  Also at dinner I put down my fork between each bite and chewed each bite at least 20 times.  No seconds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have a part-time, temporary job starting next week (YAY!).  I think when I get back each evening, I'll do my old exercise tape.  Don't want to go for a walk in the dark.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hopefully I will be able to make some changes.  I am just fed up with my weight and appearance. Ehow.com says too many goals=failure.  I'm three days into 2010 and already haven't started working on any goals.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So instead...I'm going to start when I'm ready. This holiday I actually witnessed racism from a couple members of my family.  The first incident I said "That's not nice," which didn't really do much, and after the second incident I simply got up, went in my room, and stayed there and took a nap.  It was so offensive (about Obama) and I got really pissed off.  Racism in any circumstance is unacceptable, and it really bothers me.  And unfortunately a few people in my family are dumb enough to be racist.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;I also did not receive a card or a gift from one family member, who I usually get something from, and which really hurt my feelings.  Not to mention, she told another relative right in front of me that she gave my half-sister $100!  WTF?!  I did absolutely nothing wrong to her...I've been nice!  And all my parents got was a cheap bottle of wine...and they bend over backwards doing favors for her all year.  She is thoughtless and selfish, plays favorites, and honestly, I wish my parents would cut her out.  I know I am.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;On a happier note, 2010 is coming up, and I have some special New Years Resolutions to share with everyone as I begin my 2010 Quest for Health:&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Start up exercising again.  Do the tapes as often as possible.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Eat for health and make healthy choices while eating out.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;I will cut out soda gradually and only drink it on special occasions and while dining out.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;With cutting out soda, naturally I will drink more water.  Luckily for Christmas I got three eco-friendly water bottles which kick some environmental ass!&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;With eating for health, definitely cut back on sweets and desserts.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;That's all I can think of for now.  Hopefully I can follow through on this and make progress! During the fall, I shot up to around 200 pounds.  After seeing a dietitian,  I remember I lost 12 pounds in a week!  I remained around 190 for about a year.  At the community college I went to I took a Fitness class, and went down to around 185.  I remained around that weight for a long time.  Several months after graduating college I joined Weight Watchers and started doing &lt;a href="http://www.lesliesansonevideos.com/"&gt;Leslie Sansone's Walk Away The Pounds Two Mile and later Three Mile tapes.&lt;/a&gt;  These exercise tapes are very repetitive but for me, in combination with WW, I got down to around 160/165 in Spring 2007.  This was pretty significant considering it was close to my goal. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But then I had to move back home with the parents...and the weight creeps up.  Then this year I've been eating out a lot with my bf, and I've gained a good 20 or so pounds (and he has too).  Soo I'm around my college weight, maybe a little higher.  I think with reflecting on my methods of losing the weight, maybe I can develop some sort of hybrid weight loss plan of action.  I've done it before...three times!  I think I can go for a fourth.  I *need* to go for a fourth. The magic number is now 187.2, previously 191.6. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The thing is, though, is this too fast?  I have not really changed my diet dramatically.  I only exercised two days.  On Sunday I even split a piece of rum cake with my bf and later we even got shakes from Steak N Shake.  Maybe this is part of the normal weight fluctuation people always talk about?  5 pounds up and 5 pounds down? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, it is progress in the right direction. :)  But the number is not the *only* thing.  Are my clothes looser? Not really, maybe a hair with pants, if anything. I had a terrible sophomore year of high school, was significantly overweight, and was fed up.  I knew rationally that I would not actually receive perfection, but a part of me at the time thought weight loss=perfection. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, in 1999-2000 I lost about 65 pounds.  I went from 215 pounds, size 22 W to 150 pounds and a size 14.  How did I do it?  Well, every day, mostly, I did &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Feel-Fit-Fabulous-Workout-VHS/dp/6303180019"&gt;Kathie Lee's Feel Fit and Fabulous&lt;/a&gt; exercise tape.  At first the weight shed quick...then the tape got so monotonous and boring, and the weight was harder to lose.  I did it though.  I was a robot.  I was determined to not have a year like sophomore year ever again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Food wise, I shaped up too.  Probably obsessively.  I didn't eat seconds.  Or dessert.  Or drink soda (even diet).  I had my three meals and two snacks of fruit.  I chugged bottled water like it was nothing.  I followed this diet religiously for about a year.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Something else happened, also, that was good.  My grades went up.  I attended every day (sophomore year I had a big attendance problem).  I felt so good.  Life felt wonderful.  I really changed...and I will probably be remembered from HS as the "girl who lost the weight." &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The problem happened in 2000...I quit exercising.  I cruised.  And then senior year came around...I kept the weight off, but I had a lot of emotional trouble. I did a 30 minute exercise tape.  I haven't exercised in a while, so I modified everything and still broke a sweat.  I also did stretches before and after. Somewhere between the ages of 11 and 12.  It was when I "lost my baby fat." Ha. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, what I did was these sets of exercises in the book my mom had, &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Three-Simple-Steps-Flatten-Belly/dp/0961492481"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Three Simple Steps to Flatten Your Belly&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.  I basically just did the first "step," the repetitions of exercises like leg lifts and crunches.  I was slightly obsessive compulsive around that age, so the routine of it was good for me. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think also during this period I abstained from chocolate and any food containing chocolate.  I have a sweet tooth and love chocolate, and being a kid, I probably ate more than I should have.  I think my tooth with the root canal can prove that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So what happened for me to gain it back?  Freshman and Sophomore Year of high school.  Horrific times.  I was up to 215 lbs. at age 15.  I spent a whole summer eating ham salad, chicken salad, and tuna salad sandwiches. Welcome to my new blog "Chunky Chick Gotta Eat Again!"  Why "Chunky Chick Gotta Eat Again?" Well, first off, I'm chunky.  I'm on the high end of overweight, as revealed on the Wii Fit.  I appreciate its accuracy.  One more ounce and it would have me as obese.  I weigh 191.6 as of last weigh.  I'm on the "danger zone" of the 200 mark.  Size wise, I'm high 16, probably 18 by now.  And it seems like I'm always hungry and want to eat, even if I'm not hungry.  It stems from deep seated eating problems since I was a kid.  Anyway, whenever I eat, I think "Chunky Chick Gotta Eat Again." &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyway, the reason I started this blog is I want it to be an anonymous place for me to, well, talk about stuff freely.  I posted a status recently on Facebook and got a very sobering comment in return, both of which I deleted.  Then I thought, "I wish I could have an outlet to write whatever I want on the internet without worrying about what other people think."  Thus, this blog.  Hopefully I will not offend anyone and any comments will be friendly.  I am so tired of people being hateful on the internet.  It's so common these days, sadly.  So if I say something you don't like, realize we all have opinions.  Let's agree to disagree and not criticize if someone does not think exactly like you do.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Some info on me...I'm in my mid-20s and live in Mid-Missouri.  I am currently unemployed and I am considering going back to school for a Masters degree.  I have a wonderful boyfriend who I met online, and we're very happy together.  It's nice to have a man who appreciates some curves, which is exactly what he likes (and, as he said, in all the right places ;)  I volunteer for a non-profit on a weekly basis.  I have a lot of the usual interests...music, movies, food.  Especially food.   &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My realistic goal is to lose 20 pounds, but my ideal goal is to lose 40-50.  I've lost significant amounts of weight in the past, only gaining at least 2/3rds of it back every time.  When I excerise, I do tapes religiously, and that gets monotonous.  But I like routine.  Hopefully something will give and I'll get motivated to eat healthy and exercise.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Can't wait until Christmas.  Love it...favorite holiday.  I hope I get an iPod finally.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, I'm going get a snack.
